What is it?

Project B stands for Project Blogging. It’s my small personal business project. Simply put I will host your blog along with my personal blog on my server for a very small fee.

Who is it for?

Project B is aimed to those who wants to start blogging or move from those free blogging platforms such as wordpress.com.

What you get?

Server running Linux, Apache, PHP, MySQL, Cron and other common open source technologies. You will get a 1000MB web space as a starting point with 1000MB of bandwidth.

Also:

  1. Free migration or server transfer
  2. Free 1 hour blog consultation
  3. Free setup of wordpress(or any other blogging software), plugins and basic introduction.
  4. Free customization of your blog header.

How about support?

Support will be done mostly via E-Mail, forum and wiki. You can expect my personal involvement in every single support request. You will get your support requests resolved within 24 hours.

Ok, how much is it?

It is only $2/monthly.

What’s the catch?

Since I run my own server I have resources, I can make you happy by providing you a test drive - free hosting for 3 months before you actually pay me. So if you want, contact me and we can move your blog here and you will be hosted free of charge for the next 3 months. Then you will be charged $2/monthly.

Unlike many other web hosting companies where they host thousands of websites, here at Project B you share a single physical server with much less number of websites.
